Regular events VS Timed-Entry events VS Season events

Updated over 2 months ago

There are three options to set-up a paid event on Row One. Use the information below to decide which option is best suited for you.

Note: If you have an event that takes place in multiple locations, you'll need to set up a separate event for each location.

Regular Event

This option is best if your event has:

  • The same ticket types available across all times.

  • Ticket prices and ticket quantities that remain the same over the course of the event run.

  • An in-person or virtual location.

Example events that are ideal for this set-up:

  • A concert

  • A sports game

  • A show or party

  • A livestream

  • A 1-day festival selling single day tickets.

If this sounds like the setup you need, create your event and select Regular.

Follow the steps in the guides below to build out your regular in-person or virtual event:

Timed-Entry Event

This option is best if your event has:

  • Different tickets available on different times of day and/or days.

  • Ticket prices, and ticket quantities that fluctuate over the course of the event run.

  • An in-person location.

  • A large number of timeslots.

Example events that are ideal for this set-up:

  • A two month pop-up exhibition with specific entry times each day.

  • A 3-day festival where the cost is different for each day.

  • A 5-day conference with different speakers for each day.

  • A three month attraction that has peak and off-peak pricing.

If this sounds like the setup you need, create your event and select Timed-Entry.

Follow the steps in the guides below to build out your timed-entry event:

Season Event

This option is best if your event has:

  • Same tickets available on different times of day and/or days.

  • An in-person location.

  • A large number of timeslots.

Example events that are ideal for this set-up:

  • A 6-month season of a basketball championship.

  • A 12-month season of a soccer championship.

If this sounds like the setup you need, create your event and select Season.
