How to Design your Event Ticket

Updated yesterday

The 'Tickets' page focuses on the creation, customisation, and management of ticket design for your events. Organisers can:

  • Design the visual appearance of tickets - include their branding and event details.

  • Preview ticket designs before finalisation.

  • Edit ticket display information.

This page provides organisers the necessary tools for designing their event tickets.

Step by Step Guide:

1. Click 'Create Design': Think of this as opening a blank canvas. It's where you start when you want to make a new ticket design.

2. Edit Background: This lets you change the ticket looks. You can pick a solid colour or upload a picture to use as the background of your ticket.

  • Colour Picker: This is like a digital box of crayons. You can click on it and choose any colour you want for your ticket background.

  • Upload Background Image: If you have a logo or a specific image you want on your tickets, this is where you add it from your computer.

  • Remove Background: If you've added a colour or picture and you don't want it anymore, this button will delete it, leaving you with a plain background.

3. Add Placeholder: These empty boxes will automatically fill in with specific information about your event. For example, instead of typing the event name on every ticket design, you add a placeholder for 'Event Name', and our system will put the correct name of the event on each ticket.

  • Type (of Placeholder): This is where you choose what kind of information that will go in the ticket. It could be the event name, the location, a seat number, or even a logo.

  • Sample: This shows you a preview of what the placeholder consists, so you have an idea of its size and how it will appear on the ticket.

  • Font Colour: This lets you choose the colour of the text that will appear in your placeholder.

  • Add (Button): Once you've set up your placeholder (what kind of information, colour, etc.), you click 'Add' to put it onto your ticket design.

  • Delete (option for Placeholder): If you've added a placeholder and want to remove it, you can use the 'Delete' option.
